The 20km walk event incorporated the Northern Area championships.
Winner of the Northern title was Adam Cowin of Manx Harriers getting under the 100 minute barrier for the first time, while the ladies title was taken by solo female Hannah Hunter who had a great debut at the distance with 1.53.47
Another highlight was a European Youth qualifying performance by Niamh O’Connor of Ireland in the 5km walk.
Andy Barron took an easy victory in the 10km run to achieve an Island Games qualifying standard.
